Rob James
Who? What? Where? Why and how?!?!
These are all questions that have been asked when first people meet the Miracle Drummer. Officially the worlds strongest man, not much is known about Rob save that he was banished to Siberia by the remnants of the Soviet Union. There he trained with the iceman himself, Wim Hoff, who taught him in the art of the seven signs, and how to stay in an icebath for longer than two minutes. How he ended up in London is unclear, but the following is the best information we have on how he met the rest of the socials:
Legend tells of a time when young Rob, merely an infant, bravely descended from the towering peaks of Snowdonia and ventured into the valley below. In a twist of fate, he stumbled upon the first music store within his tiny grasp, where he promptly seized a pair of 5A Vic Firth drumsticks and began to master the snare.
In present day, it's nearly impossible not to spot Rob, fiercely pounding the drums with the intensity of a Welsh dragon in heat, proudly displaying the national emblem. Having recently escaped Siberia, and subsequently escaping the Ryanair flight that brought him to London, he knew his days of lonely pounding the same old beat had to end, and he must search for the musicians of his destiny.
His quest led him to the murky waters of the Haggerston canal, where whispers of George Calne Jones' legend lingered in the air.
Under the dim glow of flickering streetlights, Rob encountered the lanky, enigmatic figure of George, strumming his guitar with a grace that belied his gangly appearance. It was said that George's tunes had the power to break hearts and guitar strings alike, and Rob couldn't help but be captivated.
As the two musicians exchanged knowing glances, they found themselves drawn to one another, their instruments resonating in harmony as if guided by a cosmic punchline. The sound they created was an unlikely fusion of grit and beauty, the raw energy of their music striking a chord in the souls of those who heard it.
Yet, amid the chaos, Rob maintains a level-headed approach, demonstrating a keen understanding of both fundamental musical principles and the intricacies of Bordeaux soil compositions.
